Can you believe that Bank America announced publicly that they are going to give credit cards to illegals? They have been doing it for over a year all ready they sent some people I know whom I helped with visas for temporary protection status whom said we are not interested in the credit cards because we know people who had problems with them.

Isn't Bank America giving credit cards to illegal aliens aiding and albeiting illegal aliens thus illegal?
What is going on with our government going after individuals who are not guilty of terrorism such as citizens who marry foriegners and not big business like Bank America who has been blatantly breaking laws by giving bank accounts to people here in the US illegally who do not have visas to be here or social security numbers.
Bank America has been giving illegals bank accounts and credit cards I know some who have them but at the time I did not know they were here illegally nor that there were so many illegally and that Bank America doing so was aiding and albeiting illegals.

B of A never said they were going to give credit cards to "illegals". B of A asserts that they are not required to verify citizenship to extend credit. There is no legislation currently in place that prevents any bank from doing the same thing.

Depending on what type of credit card you were denied for, there may be some other options. Many credit card issuers offer credit cards designed for people with bad credit. You can find a complete list of these cards here:

I'm assuming you applied for a credit card that was for someone with GOOD CREDIT. If this was the case, you might want to try one of these other offers. Although you'll probably receive a higher interest rate and pay some additional fees– with regular, on-time payments you'll have the chance to prove yourself and raise your credit score.

Eventually, you'll be able to apply for better offers with lower APR's and less fees. But for now– you'll be limited to these offers.

Each time you apply for a credit card you lose about 5 FICO points. I would advise not to apply for any new loan and credit card as you may be refused because of the bad credit and also lose 5 FICO points.Your best bet is to get a "secured" credit card and build your credit score. With Secure credit cards you have to make a term deposit and they will issue you credit card for the same credit limit. I would wait one year and improve my credit rating before applying for regular credit card.

If your credit is above 680 and Loan to Value is less than 80% and Debt to Income ratio is less than 50%, I think citigroup and countrywide is pretty good. They have the best arm rates. Even the best rates look pretty ugly right now.

You will need to fill out an application. You will usually need at least your id and possibly also your social security card. You also should bring a pay stub. It is pretty easy to get a credit card, but make sure you use it responsibly.

I'm assuming you live in Australia? In Canada and America you can just apply online… Visa, MC, AMEX are all safe to apply online… read the terms & conditions, some have instant approval. You need to supply income, etc. If you don't already have a credit card (and some credit history) I recommend you go to a bank because you will likely get declined in an online application. Usually these days they let you know within 60 seconds if you're approved, then you get the card in the mail within a week or so.

If you need an online credit report, try looking them up in Yahoo Search or Google, or call one and ask for their website. These are the main services. By law you're allowed one free report, maybe it's one per year, but might be only by phone.

I don't have any open!!! I wont use them since the interests rate can't be fixed and are mostly 35% now with penalties, and fines they say. The credit card companies have gone crazy with George Bush at the helm. The credit card debt is larger then the American governments deficit. That is seriously a problem for America, we are bankrupt.
